The short version
One thing is collected on this site: your email address, and only if you type it into the form. Visits are counted, but nobody is followed. There are no cookies and nothing to accept.

What is collected, and why
Your email address, if you subscribe to the letter. Alongside it I store the exact words you agreed to, the version of those words, and the date you agreed — so that if you ever ask what you consented to, the answer is a record rather than a memory.
The legal basis is your consent, and only your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Confirming twice is deliberate. When you subscribe, your address is stored straight away and marked unconfirmed, and one email is sent asking you to confirm it. Until you click that link, nothing else is ever sent.
If you never confirm, your address is deleted after thirty days and nothing remains.

Our host, Vercel, records ordinary web-server logs which include your IP address. Its retention is described in its privacy notice.
Each is a processor acting on my instructions. None of them may use your address for anything else.
How long it is kept
Until you leave, and then a little of it stays on purpose. Every letter carries a one-click unsubscribe, and there is a link on this site.
When you unsubscribe, your address is kept in a suppressed form rather than deleted. That sounds like the opposite of what you asked for, and the reason is practical: it is how the system knows never to send to you again. A deleted address can be added back by accident; a suppressed one cannot. Nothing further is ever sent to it, and it is used for nothing else.
If you would rather it were erased entirely, write to `aamir@aamir.life` and it will be — with the consequence that if you or someone else ever enters it again, there is nothing to stop the letters starting over.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask for it in a portable form, or object to its use. Write to aamir@aamir.life and I will answer.
You can withdraw consent at any time without giving a reason, and doing so does not affect anything sent before.
If you think I have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Czech data-protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, at uoou.gov.cz. If you live elsewhere, you may complain to your own country's authority instead.
When coaching opens
Coaching is not yet bookable. When it is, this notice will be updated before the first booking is taken — because a booking involves more than an email address: a payment through Stripe, a scheduled session, and whatever you choose to tell me about yourself.
One thing is worth saying now. What you tell me in a coaching session is between us. It is not stored on this site, not sent anywhere, and not shared with anyone.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it.
